Works with any alphabet
Many simple text-to-PDF converters only handle basic English characters and turn accented or non-Latin letters into question marks and boxes. Shrinkrs uses your browser's own text rendering, so names with letters like ł, ö, ç or ž come out correctly, and so do Cyrillic, Greek and other scripts your device has fonts for.
Making a tidy document
Use the monospace style for logs, code and anything aligned with spaces, such as a table typed in plain text. Use the proportional style for letters, notes and articles. Long lines wrap to the page width, and the line breaks you typed are kept.
In the print window choose Save as PDF as the destination. Turn off Headers and footers there if you do not want the date and page address printed on each page.
Questions people ask
Does it support accented and non-English characters?
Yes. Text is rendered by your browser, so any language your device can display will appear correctly in the PDF.
Can I convert a .txt file directly?
Yes. Use Open a file to load a .txt file, check the preview, then create the PDF.
Are line breaks kept?
Yes, exactly as typed. Lines that are longer than the page wrap automatically.
Is my text uploaded?
No. It stays in your browser and is never sent to a server.
Can I make a PDF with several pages?
Yes. Long text flows onto new pages automatically.
